Alecto Recruitment is looking to recruit for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Technician to join a leading production facility in the Chipping Norton area.

Working on a pattern of earlies and late shifts, you will carry out a range of electrical duties and maintenance tasks to assist the engineering team and ensure efficient running of the plant.

Ideally, we are looking for an electrical bias, as this is the skillset that is lacking in the team onsite currently.

**Role Profile**
- Planned preventative maintenance utilising agreed schedules and reactive maintenance.
- Managing engineering spares, including sourcing parts and other spares in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensuring that the achievement of food safety and health and safety is always a priority.
- Quick resolution of plant breakdowns, faults, leaks etc.
- Working efficiently and making best use of plant downtime due to mechanical and electrical failures.
- Monitoring plant condition on a regular basis to prevent unnecessary equipment failures.
- Working with the Engineering team to ensure site is electrically & mechanically safe.
- Contribute ideas to identify and implement energy cost saving.

**Engineer Profile**
- Level 3 HNC Electrical Engineering.
- Time served electrical engineering experience within factory-based setting.
- Full driving licence.
- Able to work early and late shifts.
- Able to work on a call out rota system basis to cover out of hour emergencies.
