**Job Advertisement: Deputy Imam Position**

**Position**: Deputy Imam (Hafiz & Alim)

**Location**: Ashton Central Mosque, Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester

**Salary**: Negotiable (based on experience and qualifications)

**Employment Type**: Permanent

**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Language Requirements**:

- Urdu (Fluent)
- Basic English

**Working Schedule**:

- 1 weekend on duty, 1 weekend off duty

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Prayer Leadership**:

- Lead daily prayers (3 times a day)
- Lead Jumu’ah, Tarawih, Tasbih, Janazah, and Eid prayers

**Education**:

- Deliver and support a structured Islamic education curriculum for children
- Teach Madrasah classes including Qa’idah, Qur’an, Urdu, Arabic, Hifz, Tajweed, and Islamic studies
- Develop and teach Islamic classes for teenagers and adults

**Community Services**:

- Conduct funeral services, memorial services, and Islamic marriage ceremonies
- Support and lead community events, seminars, and initiatives
- Promote knowledge and awareness about Islam within the community

**Administrative Duties**:

- Assist the Mosque’s management team and Head Imam with regular reports and continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and manage a social media strategy to enhance the Mosque’s profile
- Engage with the community to encourage participation in religious classes and events

**Additional Requirements**:

- Collaborate in fundraising initiatives
- Maintain professional conduct and avoid conflicts of interest

**Holidays**: 28 days per annum
