Joining our Catering Team here at Rievaulx Abbey as a Cook, you will play a key role in contributing to our fantastic visitor experience by helping to shape our catering offer.

You will be responsible for cooking freshly made products, using locally sourced ingredients, to produce the agreed menu for the site.

Supporting the Catering Manager and Operations Manager in delivering all commercial and visitor satisfaction targets as well as setting and achieving excellent cooking standards, you will be a skilled and highly motivated individual who can prepare food to the highest standards of quality and presentation, ensuring a consistent product for our visitors. As this role also involves occasionally serving from the counter, you will also have the opportunity to interact directly with our customers. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident at building rapport and providing outstanding service to our customers.

This is role is full time with the expectation that more hours will be worked over the summer season than winter. This will be discussed further at interview.
