Planner/ Estimator

**Role -**Estimator/Planner
**Location -**Wimborne
**Salary-**£30,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Premier Group are looking to bring on either a Junior or experience Estimator/Planner, with a Mechanical background. The role will involve working with an expanding manufacturing company in Wimborne. **The Mechanical Estimator will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering - Sheet Metal / CAD systems
- Being able to use statistical tools for analysing and forecasting data
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team

**The Mechanical Estimator role will involve**:

- Reviewing and assessing tender documentation
- Preparing realistic budgets to support business development
- Feeding back cost data into estimating tools and then keeping these updated
- Getting sign off from all disciplines so that you can deliver against the prepared budget
- Creating a database of past project costs to help with future bids
- Managing the project gate review process and reporting and being involved in capacity management and planning
- Working with the planners, schedulers, and the wider engineering and management team
