**Background**

Lancaster Golf Club is looking to appoint kitchen assistant to join our catering team. The role will involve working Monday - Sunday, time off during the week and rotated weekends, but will also require some degree of flexibility to help to provide cover for events, golf functions, staff holidays.

**Reporting to**
- Clubhouse Manager

**Duties**:

- To help manage the day to day operations of the kitchen.
- To prepare and cook a full range of meals from breakfast to early evening according to season.
- To maintain to comply with regulatory standards and food hygiene.

**Working Conditions**
- The hours of work change depending on the time of year, with busier periods being from April to October.
- The role will include weekend work.

**Attributes**
- A strong team player and able to work independently.
- Be reliable and well presented, with high standards in terms of cleanliness within the kitchen environment and the presentation of food being served.

**Expected start date**:

- **ASAP**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £8.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
