We are looking for a Paint Prepper for an immediate start in our friendly Family run Bodyshop.

We are looking for someone who will be working alongside our professional painters on getting the cars ready to be painted and finished to a high standard our customers are looking for.

The applicant will prep vehicle panels prior to painting, this will include the following: stripping, masking, sanding, filling, priming, polishing, and refitting.

You must be able to work well in a team and work to high level of health and safety.

All applicants for this position will go through a practical examination as we are only interested in future employees who work at the highest of standards and care about the work they do.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Prepping surfaces ready for paint using tools such as DA Sander, Scotch pads, needle gun etc
- Masking up vehicles ready for paint
- De-masking vehicles after paint
- Removing signwriting and decals using a heat gun
- Strip and fit parts and panels
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean and tidy
- Cooperating and assist colleagues wherever possible to maintain working standards
- Any other reasonable request by management

- Willingness to work on commercial vehicles
- Automotive prepping experience (desirable)

Salary is competitive dependent on qualifications and experience.
