We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in one of our **Special Educational Needs **school settings in the Coleford area.
**About the role**:
We are looking to welcome a individual who has a passion for working with children with a supportive and encouraging nature. Vision offer a wide range of full time, part time and ad hoc supply work across SEND schools and Alternative Provisions.
The role would be set in a specialist setting which caters to pupils with a broad range of SEND including SLD, PMLD, Learning and sensory needs, Neurodiversity, Social Emotional and Mental health needs. Children are likely to be working below levels that are typically expected for their age.
It is required that you have experience in moving, handling and/or hoisting in either a school or care setting for this role. Or to be willing to undergo the sufficient training.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have experience with working within an educational setting/classroom.
- Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the update service.
- Have experience of working with children or young people. Ideally within school, nursery childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Recent experience obtained within the last 2 years, of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting.
