Stock Controller

Reporting to the Head of Operations

Experience in stock management within fresh produce Packhouse operation

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To maintain the day-to-day running of the bespoke stock control system within a busy Fresh Produce company which supplies major supermarkets.
- Maintaining traceability all stock on site.
- Daily reconciliation of physical/ book stock
- Allocate appropriate Pos for packing jobs daily.
- Manage site storage capacity, by working closely with planning, procurement and greenhouse production teams
- Ensure data entry from production worksheets are entered onto the bespoke stock system.
- Required to maintain processes and procedures to help ensure delivery of best practice.
- Work very closely with the Team to ensure all codes of conduct and best business practices are carried out within the stock control department.
- Present reports to the operations team as and when necessary.
- Manage daily / weekly KPIs
- Maintain relationships with supplier base

**Requirements**:
Minimum of GCSC in English and Maths or equivalent.

Previous experience of working within a food based environment

Excellent numerical skills

Strong leadership skills

Effective communication (English spoken & written)

Intermediate Excel spreadsheet abilities

Diligent & accurate and able to work under pressure.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

The ability to delegate and organise tasks
