Manchester, United Kingdom The Christie NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner to join our friendly team. This is a permanent role, working in Brachytherapy for 1 year, to cover maternity leave, then treatment planning thereafter.

The successful applicant will have a specialist practitioner role within radiotherapy physics. In year 1, delivering brachytherapy, carrying out QC and generating treatment plans for prostate, and gynaecological brachytherapy. In year 2 onwards, it is expected that the applicant will work in treatment planning but maybe able to contribute to brachytherapy as clinical service demands and staffing levels dictate.

This is a role with plenty of variety and we work together with the wider team of clinical oncologists, clinical scientists, radiographers, and nursing staff to deliver world class brachytherapy and external beam plans.
