**Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)**

**Hourly Rate: £11**

**Hours Per Week: Term Time - Monday-Friday 3:00-6:00 (15 Hours) and 40 hours throughout the School Holidays**

**About the Nursery**:
The Nursery in Maidenhead provides exceptional childcare for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years old from 7:45am - 6:15pm. The nursery is a friendly, nurturing and homely environment where children have the freedom to play while learning important skills such as sharing, problem-solving, socialising, the art of conversation and caring for others.

The nursery boasts brand new, top quality facilities and resources, with an adventurous climbing castle, lovely enclosed garden, dedicated messy play areas, treasure baskets, sand and water play and much more. They provide a safe and stimulating place where children have the opportunity to explore freely alongside more structured learning such as phonics and small group activities.

**The role of a **Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) **within the Nursery involves**:

- Supporting the Room Leader in the day to day running of the designated room and nursery
- Acting as a Key person to a number of children
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor areas
- Completing observations and ensuring that these are recorded accordingly
- Planning and delivering activities that in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Building strong relationships with parents and keeping a strong line of communication with them
- Adhering to internal and external policies and regulations
- Reporting and recording all incidents, as well as promoting a culture of safeguarding

**To be considered for the role of **Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) **you will have**:

- A minimum of a Level 2 Childcare related qualification.
- GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
- A strong knowledge of EYFS frameworks and safeguarding
