You could join a booming manufacturer for the aerospace industry. With advanced machining facilities, they manufacture a range of innovative aircraft parts.

**Role**:
Using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, you will test locally made aircraft parts to in different conditions, inspecting to see if they're safe, compliant and fit-for-purpose.

You will learn and/or improve your skill with Magnetic Particle (MPI), Dye Penetrant (DPI), Acid Etch (AEI) and Visual inspection methods.

**Duties**:

- Inspect and test aircraft parts using Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant & Acid Etch Inspection
- Perform Control and Calibration tests on tools and equipment; ensure compliance to regulations
- Compile and write up administration data
- Perform inspection tasks in other areas when necessary (e.g. checking if a manufactured part matches the specs on its engineering drawing)
- Compile quality reports where required
- May be called upon to work within other areas of the quality department

**Essential Experience**:

- Hold valid NDT certificate for Acid Etch (AE), Magnetic Particle (MT) and/or Dye Penetrant (PT) - must be Level II, certified to EN 4179 or NAS 410.
- Engineering background, ideally within aerospace
- Good communication skills - spoken and written
- Attention-to-detail, with a methodical approach to tasks
- Ability and willingness to work within a team

**Desirable**:

- Can read engineering drawings with specs (GD&T)
- Strong organisational skills
- Computer literate
