Junior electrical estimator role

Gavin Electrical Engineering are looking for a Junior Electrical Estimator with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to help us expand our business.

We are a highly customer focused, family owned Electrical contractor based in Swansea. Working in the commercial & industrial sectors.

The business currently quotes projects between the value of £500 to £750,000 with the intention to expand the quantity of competitive tenders it produces.

We require a junior estimator with drive and enthusiasm to help us achieve this.

**Requirements**:

- Accurate quantifying of electrical materials, plant and labour requirements for allocated projects. (Assistance/advice given)
- Submission of compliant tender returns
- Reporting of tender status and progress
- Assisting is preparing variations
- Attending site surveys (with contracts manager) and liaising with clients to enable tender submission.
- Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to ensure a friendly working environment
- Understanding of associated electrical services. (Assistance/advice given)
- Monitor online tender sites to identify suitable tender opportunities (Assistance/advice given)

Qualifications:

- Experienced with computers windows, excel etc.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the electrical industry.

you will not be thrown in at the deep end, our office team will assist your development, through your time at Gavin electrical engineering, although we would need to see continual improvement as your employment progresses

Salary range based on level of experience and would be increased in relation to progress

Monday - Friday 08.00-17.00 (Although we can me flexible on work times)

Our offices are in Garngoch industrial estate SA4 9WN
