We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Be an HSE and BCM ambassador, Driving and supporting a Safety First culture within the area of responsibility.
- Take responsibility for the full scope of HSE & BCM activities conducting regular reviews.
- Provide guidance and direction to site Management to ensure continued compliance and improvement of HSE & BCM standards.
- Ensure compliance with processes and procedures to safeguard up to 200 members within the Warehouse and Transport sector.
- Undertake relevant HSE & BCM audits and associated create action plans in line with corporate requirements.
- Coordinate the HSE monitoring programme to ensure legal and organisational compliance.
- Lead the interface with the Site 3rd party security provider to contribute to the safety of all people, equipment and facilities on site.
- Complete relevant due diligence for projects along with developing actions plans.
- Work in collaboration with other HSE BP's & other Functions.
Now, here's what we need from you:
- Previous experience working in an operational H&S role.
- Previous H&S responsibility in warehouse and transport environments.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate is essential.
- Knowledge of Road Transport legislations.
- Background within a food based operation would be beneficial.
- Comfortable working across 3 chambers - Ambient, frozen & chilled.
- Sound knowledge of environmental legislations.
- Stakeholder management and management influence.
Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
