**Job Title**:Retail Trainer / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

**Location**: Oxfordshire - Must be flexible with travel

**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000 (Depending on qualifications)

**Type**: Full-time, Permanent

Drawing on the wealth of experience you have within Retail Management, to deliver vocational qualifications to learners working in the Retail industry.
- Ideally have experience of working within Food retail, though this is not essential.
- Confident to deliver Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT - (Must hold own at grades C or above - or Key/Functional Skills at level 2) - full training provided
- Excellent IT / Computer skills
- Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.

**Duties include**:

- Assess and support learners working towards Retail Apprenticeship Standards at Level 2.
- Deliver training and support to learners undertaking Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT to level 2.
- Conduct online and face to face observations learners to gather evidence towards their qualifications.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
- Assessors are expected to take part in learner recruitment to maintain own caseload.

**Personal Skills**:

- Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focussed.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
