Our client, an East Midlands Authority, is looking for an experience social worker to join their District Child Protection Team.

They offer hybrid working opportunities, training and a team of officers and assistants to support their social workers. They also offer 9-day fortnights as standard.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Undertaking child and parenting assessments.
- Carrying out court work.
- Progressing Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
- Writing reports and presenting cases to Review Child Protection Conferences.
- Picking up new cases from Initial Child Protection Conference.
- Chairing core group meetings.

**Requirements of the role**:

- Social Work degree or equivalent.
- SW England registered.
- Full clean UK Driving License.
- Access to own car.
