Working as part of the Skills for Life team, you will report to the Programme Manager for Science. You will be teaching Biology units on Access to HE Health and Human Sciences Diploma. The duties will include course planning, preparation, marking homework and classwork, marking assignments, giving feedback to learners and course administration including monitoring and supporting learners to complete PLPs. You may also support with providing advice and information about Health Care courses to a range of learners. You will also be involved in internal moderation and standardisation activities.

You will work with your colleagues to ensure high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

**About You**

As well as a degree which shows that you have the knowledge to teach Biology applicants should hold a full teaching qualification and have experience of teaching Environmental Science. Previous teaching experience within an adult setting and teaching on an Access to HE Diploma would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
