Finance Assistant

**Finance Assistant - 6 Month FTC**

**Salary: £25k**

**Location: Crowborough**

**Hours: Mon-Fri 8am -4pm of 9am - 5pm (Full time)**

This role is initially a 6 Month FTC but could potentially go permanent at the end of the 6-month period.

You will already have a background in finance dealing with sales and purchase ledger and processing invoices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Finance Manager and deputy finance controller in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assisting with the daily processing of the sales ledger, ensuring all sales invoices are raised accurately.
- Assist in the daily processing of purchase ledger ensuring that purchase invoices are matched to orders, authorised, and paid.
- Investigate and respond to customer and supplier queries.
- Assist with the maintenance of the invoice approval system.
- Input invoice and cash data accurately.
- Reconciliation of cashbook and bank accounts onto the finance system.
- Assist in the completion of month end procedures.
- Liaise with other departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Undertake other general office duties to facilitate a smooth running of the finance office.
- Proven background within a finance role.
- Have a good knowledge of sales and purchase ledger.
- Great IT skills inclusive of using accounting software packages.
- Great communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage your own workload effectively.
