Maintanance

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

**Duties**:

- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve any issues
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of equipment
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools, or machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to diagnose and resolve problems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- To do the weekly fire alarm/emergency lighting testing. Assist with maintaining the Fire Log Book.

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining various types of equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals
- Familiarity with logic controllers, electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others if required

Pay: £12.00-£12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
