Pre Press Graduate

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established repro company, predominately creating print ready files from artwork supplied, working on food and beverage packaging and/or labels across multiple print formats. This is a fast-paced environment & the successful applicant will receive direct one on one training from the studio manager. Once trained the applicant will cover the following disciplines:
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparation/creation of artwork for printing production
- Check all artworks supplied and prepare them for printing
- Ensure artwork proofs are accurately created and proofed on time
- Inputting accurate information into a Management Information System
- Liaise with Studio Manager, customer services team and customers to ensure timelines are met
- Work closely with the Studio Manager to plan jobs going into production
- Order plates
- Send jobs to the digital press or digital platemaking

**Essential Aptitudes**
- Attention to detail, with a science based approach to colour & computers (advantageous,but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with customers effectively and in a customer focused manner
- Competent IT skills (Outlook, Excel and ability to learn bespoke management system)
- Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite advantageous although not essential
- Team player with ability to work on own initiative.

Pay: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
