**About the role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project and Change Support Assistant to join our Change Department based at our Head Office, IP3 9SJ.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who will go above and beyond to support the Project Management Office and the wider Change function in the delivery of change / projects / programmes within the Society’s Portfolio.

**Salary and working hours**:
Salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 gross per annum depending on skills and experience.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours a week). Part-time hours will also be considered. Hybrid working available upon successful completion of probationary period.

**Your day-to-day activities**

Provide effective action and support to contribute to delivery of the Society’s projects / programmes as required, including providing cover within the teams, as necessary.

Undertake administrative or support actions as specified by the Head of PMO, including minute taking, defect tracking (via the use of JIRA), compiling and preparing SteerCo and other Committee packs.

Actively assist in identifying, assessing, controlling, monitoring, and reporting relevant risks - ensure that procedures and processes remain fit for purpose by driving changes where necessary.

Updating and organising project files, including minutes, actions logs and progress reports, highlighting key milestones to the project team.

Conducting research and gathering data to support project initiatives and encourage good decision-making practices.

Assisting the project manager with budgeting, logging expenses and filing financial reports.

**About you**

**As a Project and Change Support Assistant you will**:
Be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of competency in Maths and English, ideally at the A levels

Planning and organisation skills - ability to manage workload to meet deadlines

Excellent levels of written and verbal communication

An analytical, numerate, and logical skill set with the ability to adapt to change

Ability to negotiate and influence others

Enjoy taking ownership of your work and working within a team

Have a positive can-do attitude and a good eye for detail

Ideally have experience in the Relationship Management
