- Huge range of company discounts- The role- Maximise personal capabilities to achieve minimum disruption and downtime in line with service level agreements and other performance standards. Ensuring that Airport Control Centre, Line Management, Customers and Service Partners are kept informed throughout.- Utilise MAG’s Maximo system to accurately record all activities for both planned and reactive tasks. Provide clear and concise feedback on the performance of MAG’s Maximo system- Responsibility for safeguarding of good building practices across site- Achieve and maintain competence and knowledge required of the job through a positive attitude in team working, training, reading publications such as trade journals, maintenance manuals and internal policies and procedures. Advise line managers where further training or information is necessary to meet the requirements of the job.- Highly motivated, can work as part of a team or work alone and is able to take on the training necessary to carry out the role- Any other duties contributing to the component need of the Facilities Management function- Ensure that critical equipment failures are effectively communicated to Line Management and other key stakeholders- Work proactively to ensure that any failures to critical Airport Operational Services are mitigated as quickly and effectively as possible to minimise impacts on customers- What will make you successful in the role?- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting with relevant experience- It is essential that the post holder has a background in commercial painting and decorating within a building fabric maintenance environment and has experience of working in a similar capacity on a large commercial / industrial site. Experience of working on the following is desirable:

- General preparation and painting of exteriors
- General preparation and painting of building interiors
- To be able to decorate to a high standard
- To have experience of working in a busy commercial environment similar to an airport
- Working at high level from a mobile access platform or scaffolding
- To have a good knowledge of all the latest painting and decoration products
