Barker Munro is offering an exciting new opportunity in the Composite Kent Insurance market for you to work within one of the UK's best known insurance companies as an Insurance Fleet Underwriter.

As an insurance Fleet Underwriter you will underwrite existing and new business insurance with a focus on motor fleet policies from a designated panel of intermediaries and brokers within agreed authority levels. There will be an element of supplying underwritingsupport to account managers and working with other underwriters in the team. Premiums range from £5,000 to over £500,000.

To be considered for the role you will have a background in insurance underwriting, ideally motor fleet underwriting, but consideration will be given to individuals with other lines of insurance who are looking to work in other vertical markets. You willhave the ambition to progress your career in this area and have the attitude to want to develop your underwriting career, where you would be interested in training in another discipline. Excellent communication skills are essential and strong relationshipbuilding skills are essential.
