**Senior Management Accountant Job Vacancy**

We’re searching for a motivated, ambitious and adaptable Senior Management Accountant to join the senior level team of a growing national firm of accountants that embrace modern ways of working.

If you’re a skilled manager and leader of people and can prepare and review management accounts to an exceptional standard, always striving to deliver excellence, we’d like to hear from you in utmost confidence.

You’ll be a qualified accountant or qualified by significant experience within practice. You’ll also be a self-starter with a natural talent for inspiring those around you. Good communication skills will be essential, and you’ll have the ability to confidentlylead a client-facing role.

**Job Purpose**
- The oversight of the provision of management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
- The oversight of the provision of reconciliation of VAT Returns.
- The oversight of the provision of reconciliation of control accounts.
- The oversight of the provision of budgets, cashflows and financial forecasts.
- Attend Partnership meetings and present on the management accounting function.
- Deliver valued input on the financial goals and performance of the business.
- Oversee the high level workflow of the team.
- Travel from time to time to client premises.
- Build trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Support Managers and Partners with ad hoc duties as required.

**Job Requirements**
- ACCA, ACA or CA qualified with previous experience in a similar role.
- Qualified by experience within practice would also be considered.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, both verbal and written.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
- A team player able to bring out the best in others.
- Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
