Tractor Operator

S Merrett Services is a small family run business based in Gloucestershire, specialising in sports pitch maintenance/renovations and land reinstatement around the South West of England.

**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Indivdual who is able to work independently and part of a small team. The role will involve working on our various contracts on sports pitch and land reinstatement sites operating both our turf and agricultural tractors. There maybe opportunity to get involved in more hands on roles such as hydroseeding, amenity spraying, grounds maintenance if desired and further opportunity to gain you rigid HGV test.

Skills required/ desirable for this role:

- **A full valid driving licence (essential)**:

- **Experience driving tractors (essential)**:

- **HGV Licence (essential)**:

- Mechanical experience (desirable)
- Previous experience working in sports pitch construction / agriculture / ground maintenance (desirable)

A standard working day averages around 10hrs, but this may vary especially in the peak of growing / renovation season where you maybe asked to work overtime and the occasional weekend.
