We are seeking a tenacious and proactive Junior PR Executive to work across a range of clients and campaigns. Clients include but are not limited to film projects, lifestyle clients, Foundations, United Nations agencies, governments, businesses in sectors such as tech, sustainability, not for profits.

**Core Responsibilities of the Corporate Communications Assistant**:
**Public & Media Relations**
- Develop target media lists, identifying journalists, influencers, and outlets according to influence, level and reach
- Helping to draft media materials, building distribution lists and selling-in press releases and feature items
- Assist with the timely compilation of well thought through documents with precision such as status and coverage reports, interview and media briefing documents, interview request grids not limited to
- Drafting media content such as press releases, authored articles, reactive comments
- Conducting and/or analysing research and audits on a variety of client related issues with an understanding of how this helps to shape campaigns and strategies
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of the issues of the day, highlighting opportunities and challenges for clients
- Monitoring media coverage, relevant media titles and relevant social media platforms for any potential news comment opportunities and logging ideas and key contacts into databases for the team to use.
- Implementing ‘news surfing’ techniques to help teams to draft reactive commentary for clients and to generally keep an ear to the ground of latest developments impacting the news agenda. As part of the activity, you will also be required to identify and log contacts to key journalists the team could engage for current and upcoming campaigns.
- Continuously analyse media, industry and wider national and international stories across various beats, from current affairs and development stories, lifestyle to entertainment, politics to corporate, with an understanding of how this helps to shape campaigns and strategies.
- Regular reporting to senior management on activities.
- Supporting the team on client calls and in client meetings, updating on your areas and showing proactivity and ownership
- Regular creative input to account work, including identifying and generating opportunities for promoting account objectives
- Monitor media and social channels for relevant client coverage and opportunities for further coverage
- Circulate relevant sector intelligence to team
- Implement media relations' activity, including timings, distribution lists, methods of distribution
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, suppliers, key stakeholders and influencers
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to observe as they plan projects and create project deliverables
- Working on completing client related documents such as status reports, media briefing documents, coverage reporting to deadline
- Be an exceptional copywriter and create compelling content and assets (press releases, authored articles, social media content, videos, infographics etc)
- Support in preparing presentations
- Demonstrating research skills by continuously analysing media, industry and wider international current affairs and developments, with an understanding of how this helps to shape campaigns and strategies
- Participation in brainstorms to devise fresh and innovative ideas, whether to develop story angles and/or to increase followers and fans to build an engaged online community

**Social Media Activities**
- Scheduling social media content
- Developing compelling content for social media
- Drafting captions for various social media platforms
- Monitoring social media and digital activity and data to review the effectiveness of campaigns, social listening, and brand amplification
