**Warehouse Operative (Heywood)**

VTA Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with our client who is a leading supplier to the fish and chips/ fast-food sector. This friendly family-run business has been established for over 100 years supplying industry traders throughout the Northwest, North Midlands and Mid Wales.

**The Role**

The role will consist of general warehouse duties and involve working within a freezer and flour room organising, preparing and repackaging stock for delivery.

**The main duties of the role includes**:

- Manual handling.
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Have an attention for detail
- Loading and unloading stock from general warehouse/ freezer/ flour room ready for delivery.
- **CANDIDATES** **MUST HOLD A REACH FLT LICENCE** - if this is out of date our client can provide an inhouse refresher course.
- Maintaining health & safety standards

**Working hours**

Monday - Friday (No working weekends)
- 07.15 - 16.30
- £10.42 per hour
- Overtime available at £15.42 after 42 hours.

Previous experience of working in extreme cold conditions/ dry product environment.
