**About the Role**:
As the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and management to the charity. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees, ensuring the organisation meets its aims and objectives. Your role will involve overseeing the daily operations, motivating the staff and volunteers, and ensuring effective business planning and financial management.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Provide effective leadership and management to the organisation
- Work with the Board of Trustees to develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures
- Motivate, support, and inspire the staff team and volunteers
- Ensure effective business planning, financial acumen, and project management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and legal obligations- High-level business management / governance experience with a track record of inspiring and empowering teams
- Proven financial / legal management skills and knowledge of income generation
- Experience working with a Board of Trustees and stakeholders
- Knowledge of the charity sector is preferred
- Strong partnership-building and fundraising abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles
- Empathy for the needs of older people and their families
