**PACKING OPERATIVE**

**Football Prizes is seeking an organised and highly motivated Packing Operative (PO) to assist in our fast paced office, ensuing prizes are delivered to our FP Community in a professional and prompt manner.**

**Our aim has always been to provide the best Football Memorabilia/Prizes for our FP community and to provide a service to match.**

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join us on a full time, permanent basis to become a PO at the Head office in Leeds.

You will assist in the day-to-day Sorting, preparation and packing of our customers Football Memorabilia/Prizes, ensuring accuracy and care with each and every item.

**Packing Operative job description**:
The PO is responsible for preparing and packing memorabilia for shipment, as well as framing signed merchandise for our customers. The PO selects products from the inventory, checks them for any damages, and then packs them into parcels or boxes.

They are also responsible for labelling packages with shipping information and ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.

This is a position that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

They will also ensure that all prizes are filled accurately and efficiently on the system.

They will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

**Packing Operative Duties and responsibilities**:

- Package items for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements
- Professionally framing signed merchandise for our customers.
- Inspect products for defects and damages before packaging
- Ensure accurate labelling and documentation on all packages
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management by counting and reporting stock levels
- Communicate with Managing Director and other FP staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain Warehouse Stock Levels (Stationary Orders)
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

**Packing Operative requirements**:

- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail / Good concentration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina
- Good communication skills
- Computer Experience as delivery of the items requires computer input.
- Ability to work well on their own and with a small team
- Football Knowledge: For all this isn’t essential, to have some understanding of current and past football players would be useful

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.74 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
