**About the Role**

Smugglers is a residential service near Crawley and East Grinstead for males with learning disabilities and complex needs, including Aspergers Syndrome and Prader-Will Syndrome (PWS). With a homely, secure and caring atmosphere the team live by our personcentred values. The focus is helping individuals to enjoy activities of their choice, try new activities which match their goals and to have a good quality of life.

They attend social clubs, the nearby farm, specialist sports and health clubs and enjoy nature walks and the nearby Garden centre. Individuals living at Smugglers Barn also love to take ownership of organising social events, BBQs, tea parties, mini festivalsand other social activities with those living at another service very nearby called Little Smugglers.

You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shoppingand domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
