RRS Group specialise in machine moving/installations, factory relocation and contract lifting. We require an experienced Lift Supervisor/rigger in Aberdeen to support our continued growth. Experience of Versa Lifts, Mega Lift Gantry Systems, and 7-ton+ forklift experience is very desirable but not essential.

Your main responsibility will be
- Deliver tool box talks/team briefings, ensuring that everyone understands the job requirements and complies with safety requirements understanding RAMs and carrying out the supervision of lifts on site
- Assemble lifting equipment in accordance with lift plans.
- Attach loads to crane hooks by use of lifting equipment including spreader beams, lifting beams, chain hoists, ensuring load balance, security, and integrity.
- Bank the crane by use of recognised signals to safely direct the load to different types of locations.
- Manual handling activities.
- To work as part of the Jacking/Skating team.
- Act as Slinger/Banksman and assist with forklift / Crane lifts where necessary.
- Record information on any/all relevant internal management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations and accreditations relating to heavy lifting and equipment.
- Liaise with external supplier as required to ensure all appropriate lifting documentation is issued in a timely manner and meets legal and safety requirements. This includes but is not limited to Order Confirmations, Method Statements, SSOW’s, Job Sheets, Timesheets, Invoices etc.

The work will be varied, and travel will be a part of the role both internally and internationally. A willingness to work away from home is essential.
- Excellent attitude towards health and safety.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive with the ability to show initiative.
- Valid CPCS A62 card with the relevant categories i.e. Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor Those with no relevant cards or experience may be considered with an excellent proven attitude.
- Forklift, MEWP and Safety Passport tickets are desirable.
- Valid UK driving license.
