We were the first to introduce a law to protect animals and have been working hard ever since to ensure that all animals can live free from pain and suffering. **The Role**We are excited to announce we are looking for a new team member to join us as a Philanthropy Executive, working as part of our ambitious Philanthropy team on a permanent basis. The Philanthropy Team is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with some of our most influential supporters. People and organisations who share our passion for animal welfare and want to make a meaningful difference.
- **Working hours**: 35 hours / Monday - Friday.
- **Hybrid role**:Teamoffice days take place every Wednesday which alternates between our Horsham Hub and London Office. Home working is encouraged with the flexibility to attend events, donor visits and other activities based on operational needs.

What a day might look like for you

You will work with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and wider Partnerships and Philanthropy team to support the administration, thanking, stewardship and general communications for philanthropy supporters across the entire programme. With this you will assist with all aspects of the philanthropy team's work and a priority for this role will be to support the delivery of a new major donor giving club which is launching in June this year.

Externally, using your great communication skills you will build meaningful relationships with supporters to maintain and grow our income. Internally, through excellent stakeholder management you will work across the organisation to gather information and data to be used for insight and reporting.

You will be contributing to the planning and implementation of effective donor journeys using our communications platforms is essential, always ensuring that records are accurately maintained on our SRM system. As well as assisting in supporting our special event delivery for our donors, contributing to planning and implementation, it's crucial to ensure they have the best experience possible.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity for you to manage a small portfolio of donors, taking ownership of these relationships to cultivate a meaningful bond with regular communications to retain their support and grow our income.

What makes a great Philanthropy Executive?
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with data / SRM systems and communications platforms
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Good computer skills; including experience with spreadsheets and databases
- Able to work independently, within established procedures
- Confident communicating online, by phone and in person with donors in a comfortable and professional manner
