**Interim Data Manager - 9 months**
**Guildford/Hybrid**
**£35K - £38K per annum**

My client is seeking an Interim Data Manager to join their team in their Guildford office. You will work closely with the Operations Managers around all reporting requirements and manage a small Data team. The Data Manager will:

- Design and implement databases that adequately address business needs
- Analyse data for possible inconsistencies that may skew analytical results
- Evaluate and document database changes or refinements
- To conduct quality control audits and to ensure data collection requirements are being adhered to
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective data handling and management
- Assess systems and recommend necessary software, hardware and storage upgrades
- Ensure that a company’s data management protocols are in line with regulatory standards
- Have overall responsibility around GDPR and data compliance to include monitoring and ensuring compliance with legislation
- Work with Operations Manager to address any new or changed data collection requirements for service delivery
- Ensure timely, accurate and quality data is captured by the Data team in line with all contract requirements across the organisation
- Provide guidance and training for junior team members
- Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics
- Line manage the Data Administrator and Data Analyst
- Lead and undertake data impact assessments for current or new services
- Ensure that the quality and accuracy of data capture and reporting is consistently high across the team
- Attend regular service meetings to capture key performance, data concerns and input around improving data collection procedures
- Develop and maintain systems for data and information storage and prepare any additional statistical data and reports as required
- Conduct training of new staff on the organisations Database and in the use of any other data collection systems
- Carry out other tasks as required by the line manager
- Have previous experience in data management and analysis
- Have strong working knowledge in Power BI or Tableau
- Have advanced working knowledge on Microsoft Excel
- Hold excellent knowledge of GDPR, consent and Information Governance
- Have experience in using multiple database systems and quality assurance
- Have Proven experience of maintaining high-standard data security practices
- Have proven experience in supporting and implementing complex data management systems
- Hold a full UK driving licence will be required with regular access to a vehicle. Business insurance is a necessity.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexible hours are offered. You would be required to work across the clients other local sites. Hybrid working offered.
You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required (Godalming, Guildford, Woking and Camberley)
