At Newark Bridge & Iron, We cover a variety of projects, including new-builds, maintenance and overhaul work (Shutdowns / Outages). Projects encompass diverse industries such as powerstations, waste recovery, building products manufacture, bulk material handeling, and Quarrying.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Steel Erector to join our team.

MUST have upto date CSCS Card or CCNSG Passport to Safety

Moving Loads/ Capital Plant Level 3 (ACE Card)

CSCS Gold/ Blue Card

IPAF.

The installation will take place within a busy working aggregates. Where Safety critical works are upmost paramount.

Pay will be weekly by CIS

Lodge will be provided including subsistence pay

**Responsibilities**:

- Remove Existing and assemble new structural metal products
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of the structure
- Operate hand and power tools including impact guns and Angle Grinders
- Inspect structures to ensure they meet specifications and codes
- Erect steel frames for buildings, bridges, and other structures

**Skills**:

- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in metalworking
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding structural designs
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Work in a Highly demanding Safety and Time Critical enviroment

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £21.00-£29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
