We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team, to play a central part in the continued development and success of our General Internal Medicine Department at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

We are one of the largest teaching hospital Trusts in the UK, linked to one of the most successful Universities in the UK, namely Warwick. The Trust has an integrated approach for the care of older people and is committed to working with its partner organisations to deliver co-ordinated streamlined care for the older person.

The population served by the Trust is over a million people from across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond with services provided across two sites, Coventry and Rugby St Cross.

When appointed, you will become part of new innovative developments to enhance the care for our general medical patients including a new GIM firm, expansion of our medical wards and general medical clinics. As well as having the flexibility to provide a bespoke job plan that encompasses clinics within a specialty of your choice

As a member of our team, there will be an expectation for participation in both postgraduate and undergraduate education on a regular basis, CPD, audit and the clinical governance and management activities of the department.

We can also offer an annualised job plan, LTFT, relocation and incentive packages

This post will provide an excellent opportunity to become involved in the development and delivery of general medical services in a large teaching hospital
