We are seeking a HR Business Partner to work alongside our existing HR Business Partner, and to provide cover for maternity leave from December onwards.

The Role:

- Manage the day-to-day import requirements,
- Ensure tariff classifications are up-to-date and origins are correct.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, and service providers in relation to customs related topics.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to obtain/issue origin statements.
- Aid Customs in bringing all customs activities in-house and help implement any systems or process changes that may be required.
- Doing import customs entries and associated paperwork.
- Complete Supplementary Declarations on TSS.
- Remote work but occasional office visits required (Wednesbury).
- Flexible work hours may be required.

We are looking for:

- Experience in technical and practical aspects of Customs
- Ability to make and understand all Customs entries in CHIEF/CDS
- Ability to foster and maintain excellent working relationships
- Good working knowledge of Destin8 and CNS Compass
- Ability to produce professional and concise documentation
- A working knowledge and understanding of Tariffs, CPCs, incoterms and the rules of origin

Minimum requirements:
Experience with CDS/CHIEF, min 4 years

Experience with TSS (preferred)

Advanced knowledge of COO, preferential trade, GSP etc.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
