An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a busy and dynamic team supporting the delivery of recruitment and admissions activities for the School of Healthcare Sciences.
- You will play an integral part of a well organised team and must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to the work effectively with others and to solve problems using initiative and creativity. Based within the Admissions team, you will provide a high level of administrative support, carrying out critical Admissions tasks to support Academic teams to achieve commissioned numbers. You will be required to work one weekend in the year for the annual confirmation, clearing and adjustment cycle and annual leave will be limited within August until the exact dates for each annual cycle are confirmed.
- This position is full-time, 35 hours per week and fixed-term for 12-months to cover a period of maternity leave.

**Key Duties**
- Providing efficient and effective admin support for the organisation of all aspects of the student selection and admissions activities.
- Create good working relationship with key contacts to help improve service levels
- Actively contribute to the success of the team and support the supervision and management of it.
- Work with others to make recommendations for the development and improvement of current processes and procedures.

**Specific Duties**
- Undertaking frequent monitoring activities in relation to the recruitment/selection of applicants, dependent on the point in the cycle this may include the provision of data to the Senior Admissions Officer, Director / Deputy Director of Admissions, Deputy School Manager, School Manager, Head of School and / or Admissions Tutors and Professional areas.
- Supporting the School led admission processes, including making arrangements for interviews days, appropriate record keeping of selection processes and assisting with the expedient decision of outcomes to admissions, to provide/co-ordinate interview feedback as appropriate, utilising the Student Record System (SIMS).
- Working with the appropriate teams and departments to ensure appropriate content, communications send lists (to ensure correct recipients) and that data protection requirements are met.
