**Job title**: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Full time, Permanent (5 days a week, 8:30am-4pm)
**Location: Waltham Forest E10**
**Job description**:
I am currently reccruiting for a Higher level Teaching assistant for a fantastic school in the Waltham Forest borough.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the teacher within the classroom and preparing for lessons, covering, and supervising classes
- Supporting the students within the classroom and leading small group interventions or one-to-one support
- Helping the teacher manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Supervising group activities, sports events, and school outings as well as supervising a team of teaching assistants
**To be eligible for this role**:
- You must have a valid in date DBS
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant experience supporting children including youth workers, support workers or tutors will be taken into consideration
- Be able to provide two professional or relevant educational references within the last three years.
- Previous experience working with children
- Minimum L3 Early Years qualification
- Passion for teaching and learning
- Positive outlook
- Nurturing and caring character
- Above and beyond approach
