Demand Planner

Demand Planner £30-35k - Wellington

Due to expansion my client, a large FMCG company based in Wellington near Taunton, Somerset is looking to recruit a Demand planner / forecast analyst.

The successful Demand planner will be responsible for all medium & long term demand planning activities associated with customers and products. The Demand Planner is a new position in the business and will create and maintain models for their sites, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, customers and other sources.

Key skills:

- Data Analysis
- SAP
- Experience of MRP or bespoke planning systems
- Forecast experience
- Planning experience in a FMCG, Food, pharmaceutical, drinks business would be helpful
- Excellent IT experience including Excel
- Excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with the trading team, customers and other departments to understand what the demand drivers are.
- Stock Analysis - Identifying slow moving stock through data analysis.
