General Foreman

Abatec is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join one of the UK’s busiest, award-winning contractors on a freelance basis. Our client is an industry leader in delivering major Civil Engineering projects across the UK and requires a General Foreman to oversee a long-term civil engineering framework in Dorset.

**As General Foreman you will**:

- Be responsible for managing operatives and subcontractors, ensuring programme deadlines are met.
- Manage health and safety standards are upheld on site.
- Keep site diaries, daily allocations sheets, plant sheets, issue permits etc.
- Give daily briefings and conduct inductions and toolbox talks.

**Our client requires a General Foreman with**:

- Experience of working on civil engineering schemes
- CSCS Gold/Black card, SMSTS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Salary/Benefits**:

- £325 - £375 p/day (PAYE/Umbrella)
