**Job Title: Seasonal Farm Labourer**

Position June-September 2024

**Farm and Estate Work**
- Thistle spraying
- Foraging
- Hay making
- Chainsaw work - logs and trees
- Harrowing, overseeding, slitting, etc.
- Carting Straw
- General estate maintenance including fencing

**Harvest**
- Establishing cover crops and AHL2
- Preparation of grain stores
- Machinery maintenance
- Grain store operation with barley, wheat, rye, spring barley, and spring oats
- Spraying field margins
- Soil sampling

**Essential Skills/Qualifications**:

- Full Clean UK driving license
- ]PA1, 2, 6 qualifications
- Rough Terrain Telehandler license
- Proven telehandler and tractor operating experience
- Fast learner
- Adaptable
- Team player
- Ability to work under own initiative

**Desirable Skills**:

- Chainsaw maintenance and cross-cutting experience
- Willingness to work long hours, as required
- Side by side UTV certificate
- Fencing experience
- Grain store operation experience

This job offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a diverse range of skills to contribute to various aspects of farm operations during the busy seasonal period.

Pay will be hourly, depending on experience.
