Payroll Clerk

A mining and processing company based in Central London is looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to assist with a 6 month contract.
The company is based in Central London and will be hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office, 2 at home.
**Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk**
- Collating all information entered for payroll (including, but not limited to T&C changes, absence, overtime, bonuses, pension, personal detail changes)
- Using different systems to collate the above information
- Preparation of primary document for processing and submission to payroll provider
- Liaising with external payroll provider to verify information to produce a BACS file, pay slips, statutory and financial reporting with overall responsibility for the accuracy of the gross to net process.
- Submission of payroll reports and BACS file to Finance for review and payment
- Answer queries and follow up administration with employees and internal management
- Building and supporting strong relationships within the company and with external payroll provider.
**The ideal Payroll Clerk will**:
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Be available on a short notice - ideally a week or less
- Be confident and a good communicator
