Cleaner/caretaker

**BRIEF DUTIES OF POST**

You will be part of a team committed to exceeding our visitors’ expectations. Each day, you will take pride in delivering an outstanding cleaning service and your attention to detail and all-round high standards will ensure that our customers enjoy a safe, comfortable, clean and welcoming environment every time they visit.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Undertake all necessary duties required to deliver an exceptional cleaning service and ensure extremely high levels of cleanliness are maintained at all times. Main duties include the cleaning of the café, toilet and relaxation areas including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming removing of rubbish and polishing.

2. Be punctual, organised and reliable with good time management skills and the ability to work without supervision

4. Ensure that consumable products in toilets and wash areas are kept well-stocked and that stock requests are communicated to the Reception Team in good time to arrange delivery of replacement items.

5. Adhere to existing working practices, methods and procedures. Undertake relevant training and development activities and respond positively to new and alternative systems.

6. Be prepared to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the job and opening hours, including bank holiday and weekend working. You may occasionally be asked to work in the evening.

7. Take responsibility for the health and safety of oneself and others in the workplace, particularly in respect of:

- Accident reporting
- Lone working procedures
- Risk management
- ensuring you use chemicals in accordance with our COSHH policy.

8. To undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time commensurate with the grade and general nature of the post.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 7.5 per week
