**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen at Clacton County High School for the temporary position of instructor within our Music department.

As a school, we are determined never to stand still and as a result of this commitment, we are seeking an enthusiastic member of staff to become part of our CCHS team. A person with the ability to inspire their students and act as an exemplary role model to the entire school community; staff and students alike.

Clacton County High School is part of the Sigma Trust and works closely in collaboration with the other schools within our trust family. As a result, we are innovative and always learning from each other to ensure that we deliver an exciting and progressive learning experience for our students.

Without doubt, this is an exceptionally exciting time to join our staff, the school is expanding and we have a new main school building housing six brand new classrooms and a 4-court sports hall. The sixth form college has recently been refurbished and both sites have excellent facilities, however we are continually developing to accommodate and support the changing needs of the young people of this area.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Positively targeting and supporting individual learning needs.
- Maintaining high levels of behaviour and discipline.
- Effectively using homework and other extra-curricular learning opportunities.
- Demonstrating appropriate consistent progress for the majority of learners across all teaching areas, across all spectrums of background, ability and behaviour that compares favourably with students in similar settings.
