Due to the location, you will need your own transport
- Receiving, picking, putting away, replenishment and dispatch. Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process.
- Process inbound and outbound goods on the customer’s system, full training to be given and monitored during the probationary period
- Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operations and customer service.
- Ensure any concerns, issues, or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behavior, and taking due consideration of company values.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Good level of general education, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English
- Literate and numerate
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team, withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines
**Pay**:
- £11 per hour
**Hours**:
- Monday to Friday (07:00 - 15:00)
