As an effective Hire Controller in Stockport, your main priority is thinking of the customers’ best interests. This means that you listen carefully to the customers’ wishes and are able to anticipate them well. Furthermore, you are responsible from A to Z that everything is arranged perfectly. Of course, you never miss an opportunity to explain to the customers which additional machines or products could benefit their projects. As an efficient Hire Controller, you will be maintaining regular contact with your customers to check if they have any new requirements and making outbound telemarketing calls to current and prospective customers.

Finally, when the customer has finished with the machines, you’ll be arranging for the collection and return of them and ensuring that the customer has received the best experience possible from Boels Rental

The orange team in Stockport that you can be a part of consists of three other enthusiastic Hire Controllers and a brilliant Team Leader to train and support you.

As a Hire Controller within our UK Customer Contact Centre (CCC) in Stockport, your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 0730hrs to 1700hrs.

The office is located to the West of Stockport, in Heaton Mersey. It is 1.5 miles from East Didsbury train station and 1 mile from East Didsbury Metrolink.

- A competitive annual salary ranging from £26,000 to £28,000 plus quarterly performance based bonuses. The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. It gives you an indication of what you could realistically expect to earn during your tenure in the position. It also takes into account any potential annual salary raises/reviews. Actual salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills/experience, relevant qualifications and performance
- 33 leave days of annual leave per year including official bank holidays.

- Have a good knowledge of the plant machinery and small tool hire industries.
- Have excellent customer service skills coupled with tactful communication
- Display a friendly and courteous telephone manner.
- Be a strong team player, and enjoy working in a team.
- Be available to work full-time hours.
- Have valid proof of your right to work in the UK - (Boels does not arrange relocation, work visas or provide visa sponsorship)
