Holbrook Hall is looking for a passionate Cook to join our friendly team to provide quality, home-cooked meals for our residents. As Cook, you will ensure that individuals' likes, dislikes & any special dietary requirements are catered for, giving a variety of choice at mealtimes whilst promoting health and wellbeing through meeting nutritional needs. You will work under the guidance of the Head Cook and closely with the Kitchen Assistant to run a smooth and efficient kitchen and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene and safety are maintained.

**Responsibilities**
- Weekly stock check and ordering
- Stock rotation
- Quality monitoring of produce
- Menu development in collaboration with residents
- Daily food preparation and cooking
- Oversight of cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance
- Work in line with the Food Standards Agency's, Safer Food Better Business guidance

**Qualifications**
- Experience of running a commercial kitchen essential
- Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
- Knowledge of special dietary requirements, including modified diets (desirable)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
