Respite Carer

We are looking for reliable and committed people to provide high-quality care and companionship to our clients and much needed respite to care givers across the Scottish Borders. Whether it be personal care and support with household tasks, or social support and companionship, our longer visit durations give staff the time to develop meaningful relationships and provide the support that really matters to our Clients.

While formal experience in care is helpful, it’s not always necessary. We are interested in finding the right kind of people to join our team. If you are a patient and caring person with great communication skills, regular availability and are interested in a varied and rewarding role which makes a difference then we would be interested in hearing from you. We provide full training and a supportive working environment to help you succeed in the role, together with other benefits. Given the nature of the role a current driving license and use of a car is needed.

PVG Scheme Membership is required before confirmation of any offer.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
