MTrec recruitment is proudly partnering with our long-term Teesside based engineering client in their search to appoint a Toolmaker on a permanent basis. The company are a well-established business, with a proud heritage of manufacturing high value partsto a national and prestigious customer base. They are now looking for a Toolmaker to manufacture and repair a range of tools, to support all aspects of their manufacturing department. The role will be working days, in a friendly team-based environment, whichis highly resourced and supportive. **The job you’ll do;**
- Manufacture and repair a range of tools.
- Working in a machine shop on a range of CNC and conventional machines.
- Performance a range of general engineering and bench work duties.
- Provide an excellent service to the production team to repair tools as accurately and as quickly as possible.
- Perform modifications and improvements on the tools.
- Record / document tool performance and quality concerns regarding the repair details on maintenance reports.
- High standard of housekeeping is a requirement.
- Work in a safe and orderly manner.

**About you;**
- You will have a toolmaking background, from either press or injection moulding.
- Experience of working in manufacturing/engineering environments.
- Able to perform a range of skilled duties in a CNC and conventional machine shop.
- You will be quality focused and used to working to fine tolerances.
- You will time-served with suitable qualifications.
