Our client, operating across 20 different countries and specializing in providing a number of aviation services to commercial and government operators across the World, are looking to recruit a **Purchasing Representative**to be based at offices in the **Heathrow** area**.**

**Main Purpose of the Role**:
Reporting to the Trading Manager, and based within the Purchasing department, the Purchasing Representative will support the purchasing / selling function and will carry out a variety of tasks and functions in support of the product line. They will be responsiblefor maintaining proper inventory levels, inventory mix, and overall efficiency and profitability of the product line.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare customer inquiries and provide quality responses.
- Establish competitive pricing levels for customer inquiries
- Identify and purchase quality material relative to various aircraft types.
- Coordinate and communicate with the sales force to secure individual sales.
- Monitor daily backlog reports to ensure that all customer orders are processed and shipped as ordered.
- Liaise with the appropriate personnel within the logistics chain to organise and expedite inventory shipments, purchase orders, and repair orders
- Identify new opportunities.
- Ensure overall satisfaction.
- As business needs dictate, the postholder may be required to undertake additional duties of a level commensurate with their existing responsibility.
- As business needs dictate, the postholder will be required to travel within the UK and internationally.

**To Be Considered**:

- Educated to at level A Level (or equivalent)
- Proven purchasing or sales administration experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Have strong communication skills
- Be able to prioritize tasks according to value and urgency.
