We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN 121 Support Specialist to work alongside a remarkable student, starting as soon as you clear our compliance checks. In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to a student's educational journey and make a real difference.

Position Details:

- Job Role: SEN 121 & Small group Support Specialist
- Location: Durham
- Working Hours: 8:30-3:30, 5 days per week

Responsibilities: As a SEN 121 Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our student within the school environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-to-one assistance and support to the student throughout the day
- Ensuring their safety and well-being at all times, particularly during potential seizure events
- Assisting with the student's integration into classroom activities, promoting inclusion and participation
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to implement individualized educational plans
- Offering emotional support and encouragement to foster the student's confidence and independence

**Requirements**:

- Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be trained in handling seizures and medical emergencies
- Relevant experience working with SEN students (preferred, but not essential)
- Valid background checks and clearances
